4) The Escort I Liked Died (D. Thomas)

Tell us a little about yourself?

Single, 32, guy, I struggled with porn, masturbation, and escorts

Tell us about your struggle with acting out and what led you to seek transformation?

I was acting out because I thought that women never found me attractive. I thought women hated me, so at a young age I stumbled upon masturbation. As I got older I went to strip clubs, met strippers who were willing to do something “extra” to me for extra. Then I discovered the Classifieds, where I pretty much paid for a girl to pretend to liked me for 10 – 15 minutes.

One day I met a girl through the Classifieds. She was also struggling. So we helped each other, if you know what I mean. After a while, I started to like her more than an a escort. Then one day, I found out she had passed away. I never knew she was sick, she died of drug overdose. That’s when I stopped everything, sex, masturbation, everything!

Today… I am 144 days into my Nofap journey. I was depressed and disappointed with me and my life, so it was time for a change.

What were some of your low moments along the way?

When I told certain women about my nofap journey, they challenged me and I almost failed.
